Job summary

Proman is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in Stafford (ST16) for reliable Class 1 Drivers. You will drive to and from RDCs, complete POD paperwork and operate refrigerated units with training provided. Flexible start times with Monday–Friday pattern and occasional optional weekend work; some nights out may be required.

A paid driver assessment after the first five shifts is offered, with ongoing work and potential permanent opportunities on completion of probation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Up-to-date CPC Card and Digital Tacho Card.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive to and from RDCs.
• Complete POD paperwork accurately.
• Operate refrigerated units (training provided).
• Handle snap accounts and fully equipped lorries.

We're a recruitment agency hiring on behalf of our client - a well-established Company in Stafford (ST16). They're currently looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers who will be happy to occasionally night out. Paid driver assessment after first 5 shifts. All trucks are a maximum of 3 years old, clean tidy kit and work! Potential permanent opportunities.

What's Involved

• Driving to and from RDC's
• Completion of correct POD paperwork
• Refrigerated Units (Training provided)
• Snap accounts and fully kitted out lorries - £25.00 nights out

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Tacho Card
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience

What You'll Get

• PAYE rate Mon - Fri Days £19.05 per hour (£17.00 hour base pay + holiday accrual)
• PAYE rate Mon - Fri Nights £19.83 per hour (£17.70 hour base pay + holiday accrual)
• PAYE rate Saturday £21.83 per hour (£19.50 hour base pay + holiday accrual)
• PAYE rate Sunday £22.44 per hour (£20.00 hour base pay + holiday accrual)

What We Need from You

Valid CAT CE Licence
Valid CPC Card & Digital Tacho Card
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 experience

No more than 6 points on your licence (No IN10, DD, MS90, TS10, TT99 or DR10 offences)
