Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Day Driver for weekday shifts, based in Davidstow. You will operate curtain side trailers or LSTs, collect powder from the customer site, and deliver safely to the Heathfield warehouse. Ensure correct loading and securement and maintain daily vehicle safety checks.

You will communicate with the transport team, attend ongoing training, and uphold professional customer service while meeting delivery schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Driving Licence.
• Possess a current Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and representing the business professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate a curtain side trailer or LST, collecting powder and transporting it to the warehouse.
• Load and secure goods using straps and nets to prevent shifting or damage.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and keep transport team updated on progress.
• Participate in regular training to stay up-to-date with industry standards.
