Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our UK operations, based out of North Tawton with additional depots at Cullompton and Ernesettle as required.

You will deliver loads to client sites across the UK on a curtain-sided trailer, manage load security, use a handheld PDA for paperwork, and stay in touch with the transport team to meet customer expectations. Nights away are a regular part of this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Operate curtain-sided trailers delivering across the UK.
• Ensure load security with straps and safe handling.
• Use handheld PDA to complete paperwork efficiently.
• Maintain constant contact with transport team.
• Work nights away as required.
• Attend regular training to stay compliant.
