Gregory Distribution Ltd. is hiring a Class 1 CE delivery driver to service retail stores across the UK. You will handle curtain-side and box trailers, perform tail-lift deliveries, and stay compliant with safety standards.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence (CE), Driver CPC, tachograph card, and strong customer service. Training and development are provided, with a competitive salary and shift patterns to suit the business needs.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
• Possess a current Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Previous experience delivering to retail, commercial or customer sites is advantageous, though training is provided.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Capable of working to planned schedules and delivery deadlines with high safety standards.
• Positive, reliable, team-focused and able to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Take to the road in curtain-side and box trailers to deliver goods to UK retail stores.
• Keep a manageable schedule with 1–3 drops per shift and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Secure loads safely using industry-approved restraint equipment.
• Complete tail lift deliveries focusing on safety and efficiency.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using company phone.
• Maintain regular updates to the transport office on progress and issues.
• Represent the company professionally at delivery points and build customer relationships.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay compliant with industry regulations.
