Job summary

Temp Station Ltd. is recruiting for Class 1 container drivers to operate from the Southampton area (SO15). You will use skeleton trailers to collect containers and deliver to customers, with 1–3 deliveries daily and possible trailer swaps.

Training packages are available and induction/assessment on site are required. Working times are Monday to Friday nights, start between 17:00 and 19:00, with PAYE rates listed for days and nights.

Qualifications

• Must have Category C+E Licence.
• 6 months class 1 containers experience preferred, though training can be provided.
• CPC and Digi card required.
• Provide a high level of customer service skills.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Full PPE provided.

• Carry out any other relevant duties required by the line manager at the depot.

Temp Station are currently recruiting class 1 container drivers on Days & Nights for our client based in Southampton (SO15)

Our client is a national logistics company with many sites across the UK.

The successful candidates will be required to use a skeleton trailer to collect containers and deliver them to customers, making 1 3 deliveries a day, which may also include trailer swaps.

Drivers with 6 months previous container experience are preferred but not essential. Training packages can be provided for the right candidates.

All candidates must undergo an induction and assessment on site prior to working.

Working times are Monday to Friday Nights with start times typically between 17:00pm and 19:00pm, on an ongoing basis.
