Job summary

Woodside Logistics Group is seeking a reliable Class 1 driver for a part-time job-share role based near Ballynure. You will transport goods safely, follow routes, and maintain good customer service while adhering to regulations. A flexible schedule with Thursday/Friday days and potential Saturday work supports a better work-life balance.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class C+E (Class 1) driving licence.
• A valid digital tachograph card.
• A minimum of one year's driving experience.
• A good driving record, with a maximum of six penalty points acceptable.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely and responsibly operating a company vehicle.
• Transporting a variety of goods to customers.
• Following planned delivery routes and updating the Traffic Office on location and ETA.
• Providing great customer service to customers and colleagues.
• Completing daily vehicle and trailer checks and relevant documentation.
• Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy.
• Reporting defects to the Traffic Office and obtaining a defect number.
• Following Health and Safety requirements, relevant legislation and site policies.

We're looking for a reliable Class 1 Driver to join us on a part-time job-share basis. It's a great opportunity to keep doing what you enjoy, without the commitment of a full-time working week.

As part of our Haulage team, you'll be responsible for transporting goods safely, efficiently and professionally, helping us deliver the quality service our customers expect.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely and responsibly operating a company vehicle.
• Transporting a variety of goods to customers.
• Following planned delivery routes and keeping the Traffic Office updated on your location and estimated arrival times.
• Providing great customer service to our customers and colleagues.
• Completing daily vehicle and trailer checks and relevant documentation.
• Keeping your vehicle clean and tidy.
• Reporting any defects to the Traffic Office and obtaining a defect number.
• Following Health and Safety requirements, relevant legislation and site policies.

We're offering a straightforward, consistent working pattern designed to give you more time for life outside work.

• Thursday and Friday every week (10 hours guaranteed per day)
• Potential additional work on Saturdays if you'd like to take on a little extra.
