Job summary

Guidant Global is hiring Recovery Claims Handlers to support our nationwide insurance client. You will manage non-fault claims, ensure timely assessments, and maintain clear customer communication.

This 3-month contract offers remote work with hybrid options in Newcastle or Royal Tunbridge Wells, with a strong possibility of extension. You will liaise with repairers, insurers, and third parties to recover costs.

Qualifications

• Previous call handling or customer service experience required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience in insurance, claims, or car hire advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep customers informed on the progress of their vehicle damage claim and hire car.
• Manage and justify hire durations while maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Communicate effectively with repairers and insurers regarding vehicle repairs and hire car arrangements.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support the recovery of all associated claim costs.
• Validate relevant insurance cover and identify potential fraudulent claims for investigation.
• Ensure customers receive exceptional service in line with professional and industry standards.
• Contribute to cost, service, and process improvement initiatives within the team and participate in departmental projects.

As a Recovery Claims Handler, you will provide customers with an exceptional claims experience by ensuring their claims are assessed promptly and managed efficiently throughout their journey. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of active non-fault claims, ensuring that hire durations are justified, customer expectations are managed, and recoveries are completed successfully.
