Job summary

Hiscox is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join the Claims value stream and shape the next stage of its digital journey. You’ll own the product roadmap from discovery through delivery and adoption, balancing immediate priorities with the longer-term vision.

You’ll collaborate with business, technology and data teams, translate strategy into priorities, and explore how AI and emerging tech could support Claims.

Qualifications

• Experienced Product Owner in a Claims environment delivering value through cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and shape an emerging product direction.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence multiple disciplines.
• Experience owning and developing a product roadmap for an established platform.
• Familiarity with OKRs, benefits tracking and outcome-led delivery.
• Experience with Agile or iterative delivery and backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a complex, multi-stream product backlog aligned to strategic objectives and OKRs.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear, outcome-focused delivery goals.
• Ensure sprint goals are clear and aligned to roadmap milestones.
• Conduct workshops to design and define delivery iterations with clear acceptance criteria.
• Be the first point of contact for the delivery team and unblock blockers.
• Act as the voice of the customer to ensure business value is delivered.
• Participate in Agile events and work with the Scrum Master to ensure success.
• Develop and motivate a delivery team across internal and external teams.
