Job summary

Hiscox Insurance Company in London is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our Underwriting value stream and lead the development of complex products that shape the future of the London Market.

You will work with Product Managers, developers, data science specialists and underwriting stakeholders to translate strategy into clear priorities, manage a complex roadmap and drive measurable outcomes using data, AI and automation for underwriting submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex products in an enterprise setting.
• Strong ability to translate strategy into actionable backlog items.
• Proven track record in Agile delivery and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a complex product backlog aligned to strategic objectives and OKRs.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear, outcome-focused goals.
• Ensure sprint goals and roadmap milestones are achievable and clear.
• Run workshops to refine delivery iterations and prioritise for maximum value.
• Capture requirements with clear acceptance criteria for the delivery team.
• Be the main point of contact to answer questions and remove blockers.
• Act as the voice of the customer and communicate business value to the team.
• Engage in Agile events and report progress to stakeholders.
