Hiscox Underwriting Group Services Ltd (HUGS) in London is seeking a dynamic Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of complex underwriting products. You will collaborate with Product Managers, developers, data scientists and underwriting stakeholders to translate strategy into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

You will own and continually develop a multi‑stream product roadmap, balancing immediate delivery priorities with the longer‑term vision, and you will shape solutions

Qualifications

• Experienced Product Owner in underwriting or similar digital product environments.
• Proven track record owning and delivering product roadmaps with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a multi‑stream product backlog aligned to strategic OKRs.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear, outcome‑focused delivery goals.
• Ensure sprint goals align with roadmap milestones and value delivery.
• Run workshops to define delivery iterations and prioritize work with acceptance criteria.
• Be the first point of contact for the delivery team to answer questions and remove blockers.
• Act as the voice of the customer and represent needs across the delivery team.
• Engage in Agile events and collaborate with the Scrum Master for successful ceremonies.
• Provide roadmap feedback and escalate risks impacting delivery and roadmap.
