Job summary

Wakam, a leading European insurtech, is seeking a Claims Administrator to support UK claims operations across partner administration, complaints handling, and governance. You will manage UK partners including MGAs, TPAs and legal providers, coordinate data and reporting, and keep our ELTO and office processes running smoothly while embracing AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK claims processes and procedures.
• Experience within an insurance company, TPA, or another fast-paced insurance-related environment.
• Demonstrated experience in claims administration, insurance administration, or a similarly dynamic role.
• Good command of standard computer tools, with exposure to AI-enabled tools.
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, insurance regulation and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues and contribute to practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner & Operational Administration: support the operational administration of UK partners (MGAs, TPAs, legal providers, and other suppliers).
• Claims & Complaints Administration: manage claims and complaints inboxes and associated processes; support run-off accounts and NCB certificates.
• Data, Reporting & Team Support: prepare data and reports for meetings; assist Claims, Underwriting, Risk & Compliance teams.
• Office & Payment Administration: maintain ELTO database; process invoices; manage office post and Regus call forwarding.
• External Partner Support: act as the go-to contact for external partners and provide practical guidance.
