Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting a Claims Operations Manager to lead the oversight of the claims function for a new Lloyd’s Syndicate. The role focuses on enhancing governance, reporting, and risk management related to delegated claims handling services.

The successful candidate will drive operational changes, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and coordinate systems development to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the claims function.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role (Lloyd’s/Company Market preferred).
• Proven track record delivering claims-related projects and operational improvements.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse groups.
• Ability to lead independently and with teams.
• Comfort with systems, data, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the operational oversight of the claims function.
• Monitor the claims operating model and drive process improvements.
• Enhance governance and reporting across Syndicate claims.
• Establish a robust oversight framework for delegated claims handling services.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Represent claims in inter-departmental initiatives.
• Coordinate system design and change processes as required.
