Job summary

The Graduate is recruiting for a claims handling role in the insurance/property repairs sector. You will manage your own set of client cases, negotiate settlements, and support professional qualifications as you progress within the firm.

Expect 8:45-17:00, weekdays with 45 minutes lunch. The firm supports training and a rising stars in leadership progression, plus two days WFH after probation.

• Claims handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Looking after a range of cases, working alongside other teams to ensure cases are completed successfully.
• Communicating facts on all building solutions relating to claims.
• Examining documentation to ensure we are in full possession of the facts.
• Liaising with our Surveyor or Civil Engineer who has attended site or analysed the documentation and images provided.
• Understand the works in process and state of progress with the claim and works carried out.
• Ensure the customer is updated throughout the repair process.
• Manage the customer, client, and claimant's experience throughout the repair process.
• Working alongside the building solutions team to managing the jobs from start to completion and dealing with any issues
• Entering into discussions with the claimant in order to settle the claim
• Ensuring you keep the internal system up to date and communicate any issues internally
