Job summary

Confidential is seeking a claims handler with experience in insurance or property repairs to join the team. You will manage client cases, liaise with surveyors/engineers, and ensure accurate information is communicated at every stage.

The role emphasizes progression, professional qualifications, and a rising stars academy. You will be supported with training and development, enjoy a 25 days holiday with extra time off in lieu, a take-home bonus scheme, and the option to work two days from home

Responsibilities

• Looking after a range of cases, working alongside other teams to ensure cases are completed successfully.
• Communicating facts on all building solutions relating to claims and ensuring you have full facts prior to communicating with clients.
• Examining documentation to ensure we are in full possession of the facts.
• Liaising with our Surveyor or Civil Engineer who has attended site or analysed the documentation and images provided.
• Understand the works in process and state of progress with the claim and works carried out.
• Ensure the customer is updated throughout the repair process.
• Manage the customer, client, and claimant's experience throughout the repair process.
• Work alongside the building solutions team to manage jobs from start to completion and deal with issues.
• Enter into discussions with the claimant to settle the claim.
• Keep the internal system up to date and communicate any issues internally.
