Job summary

PMR is seeking three organised and detail-driven Claims Handlers for an office-based role in the United Kingdom. The position offers a salary of £25,000 plus a discretionary bonus up to 5% (subject to eligibility).

You will manage a high volume of claims with accuracy and a strong customer-service focus, ensuring clear communication with clients and internal teams. This is a structured, process-driven environment with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Levels or an equivalent Level 3 qualification (a law degree is desirable but not essential).
• Experience in a claims-handling role, ideally within bulk or high-volume claims.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks professionally.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process a high volume of claims daily, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
• Review, evaluate and determine the validity of claims in line with company policies.
• Provide clear, courteous and timely responses to clients and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and organised digital records for all claims handled.
• Ensure full adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards and industry guidelines.
• Liaise collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support smooth workflow.
• Contribute insights to improve processes and service levels within the claims team.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay up to date with any process or system changes.
