Job description

Job Title: Claims Handler

Join our claims team at McCarron Coates Ltd, based in Leeds, where you will receive training across different lines of insurance risk to become a Claims Handler. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage claims across various classes, primarily focusing on motor fleet clients.
  • Ensure SLA's and KPI's are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain an efficient diary system for all claims and chase claims as required.
  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of Acturis.
  • Provide claims information and reports to the broking department and clients.
  • Handle complex claims according to company procedures.
  • Produce claims MI/claims reports when needed.
  • Meet with clients and present claims information as required.
  • Manage personal CPD to keep skills and knowledge current.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Claims Handling and Management skills.
  • Insurance Claims knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • GCSE or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of Claims Processing experience.
