Job summary

Marsh in Glasgow is seeking a claims professional to join the Marsh Claims Team. This hybrid role requires office presence at least three days per week in the Glasgow office, working with a global leader in insurance.

You will proactively manage a portfolio of claims, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and ensure timely, accurate handling of all client requests while maintaining service standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients during the claims process, ensuring their interests are properly represented.
• Proactively manage an allocated caseload.
• Ensure all client requests and queries are dealt with promptly and accurately.
• Gather all relevant claims information & documentation.
• Provide claims advice to clients managing expectations and keeping them informed.
• Action all new claims & report to insurers within SLA/KPI.
• Build and manage relationships with involved parties.
• Ensure files are maintained and data captured accurately.
• Produce claims reports as required.
• Adhere to regulatory process requirements.
• Process DA claims per scheme requirements.
• Ensure claims are accurately reserved.
