A leading insurance firm is seeking a Senior Claims Advisor to manage a portfolio of complex Liability Claims based in the Glasgow office. This hybrid role requires effective communication with stakeholders and the ability to prioritize workload. The successful candidate will assist with training new joiners and processes claims efficiently. • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders attending internal meetings.
• Build and manage internal and external relationships with involved parties.
• Ensure files are maintained and data capture is up to date.
• Produce claims reports as required.
• Adhere to regulatory process requirements.
• Process DA claims in accordance with scheme requirements.
• Ensure claims are accurately reserved.

Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Claims Team. This role will be based in the Glasgow office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Claims Advisor

The main focus of this role is to manage a portfolio of complex Liability Claims ensuring service delivery is in line with client expectations. The job holder will be expected to conclude matters in an efficient and professional manner whilst ensuring all parties are kept fully appraised throughout the claims process. The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders is essential.

You will also assist with the training of new joiners and with more complex claims queries from other members of the team.

This position would suit an experienced Claims Handler with Liability Claims experience looking to join a Global leader within Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an allocated caseload.
• Ensure all Client requests and queries are dealt with promptly and accurately.

• Provide claims advice to clients managing expectations and ensuring that they are kept informed and advised of all necessary developments.
• Action all new claims & report to the relevant insurers within applicable SLA’s & KPI’s.
• Effectively communicate with all key stakeholders attending internal meetings representing claims.
• Build and manage effective internal and external relationships with all involved parties.
• Ensure all files are maintained and data capture accurate and up to date.
• Produce claims reports as required.
• Ensure all regulatory process requirements are adhered to.
• Process DA claims in accordance with scheme requirements.
• Ensure claims are accurately reserved.
