QBE European Operations plc. is seeking a Claims Adjuster specializing in Marine & Energy to provide exceptional claims service in a hybrid Leeds role. You will manage complex claims, assess coverage, investigate, evaluate, and negotiate while coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes maintaining knowledge of guidelines, handling insureds relations, and contributing to cost-efficient claim outcomes with a focus on energy-related first and third party losses.

Qualifications

• Experience in a claims department or the insurance industry.
• Experience handling claims within the respective line of business
• Excellent investigative skills
• Proven experience dealing with policy coverage
• Experience dealing with liability negotiations
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal
• Relationship Management skills
• Able to effectively use MS office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Identify and resolve issues or anomalies non-compliant with policies and procedures.
• Assist with the daily review of reports and ad hoc reporting.

The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional claims service to customers by managing complex claims effectively. This includes assessing policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims, as well as collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders while offering technical support.
