Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Adjuster to join our Claims department at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting to the Head of Property Binders, you will help develop our market-leading Property Binder claims services, contributing to attracting and retaining profitable business.

The role includes:

1. Delivering a first-class service to all customers, through personal ownership and team collaboration.
2. Managing claims from the delegated portfolio, including those beyond personal authority, either personally or with experienced colleagues.
3. Owning nominated client relationships to ensure excellent Claims service and support business goals.
4. Handling Coverholder and TPA Account Management roles.
5. Liaising with Underwriters to ensure they are fully briefed on claims issues.
6. Ensuring fair customer outcomes and maintaining commerciality in line with TMK values.
7. Understanding the company's risk appetites regarding delegated authority, conduct, and financial crime.

Ideal candidates will have a background in general insurance across relevant business classes and territories, with in-depth knowledge of the London market, especially North American Binding Authorities. A good understanding of Binding Authority operations and relationships is beneficial. We seek a team player with analytical thinking and adaptability.
