The Role – Contract WIP Loss Adjuster

Our General Property team is central to our business. As a Commercial/Domestic Contract Loss Adjuster, you will manage a caseload of WIP through to conclusion.

What You Will Be Doing

Supporting clients by proactively handling and settling a mixed caseload of property claims up to £100k. You will need to investigate each claim with tact and a calm manner, establishing facts and working towards resolution.

• Build client relationships through management and delivery of SLAs and KPIs
• Liaise with colleagues in different areas, such as Major & Complex Loss
• Resolve problems and gather all necessary details for swift settlement
• Record statements and gather information as required
• Identify and resolve barriers to settlement

About You

We are seeking experienced Adjusters who enjoy providing solutions. Previous loss adjusting or high-value claims handling experience is essential. Candidates should have or be:

• ACII or CILA qualified, or qualified by experience
• Knowledge of FSA procedures and TCF initiatives
• Understanding of the insurance market
• Technical knowledge in adjusting
• Understanding of client SLAs, productivity, and quality
• Customer-focused mindset
• Good IT skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving license
