Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civil Technician based in Leicester to join a dynamic and growing organisation. The role covers site set-up, roads and sewer design across a varied project range, offering development and progression opportunities.

You will produce detailed Civil 3D/AutoCAD drawings, contribute from initial design through to completion, and work with internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Essential: civil technician experience, site set-up, roads and sewer design, with strong Civil 3D and AutoCAD skills.
• Experience in development or house builder design is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive, organised approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed civil drawings and designs for varied projects.
• Prepare site layouts, roads and sewer designs from concept to completion.
• Create accurate drawings using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely, quality delivery.

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Civil Technician to join an ambitious and growing organisation based in the Midlands. The successful candidate will have experience within development or house builder design, particularly with site set-up, roads and sewer design.

Essential:

• Previous experience working as a Civil Technician
• Experience within development or house builder design
• Experience of site set-up, roads and sewer design
• Strong Autodesk Civil 3D experience
• Strong Autodesk AutoCAD experienceExcellent attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience using Site 3D
• Knowledge of Autodesk InfoDrainage / Inflow
• Knowledge of Causeway Flow
• Expert-level Autodesk AutoCAD experience
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Experience using MailManager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Produce detailed civil engineering drawings and designs
• Work on a varied range of projects from initial design through to completion
• Prepare site layouts, roads and sewer designs
• Produce accurate technical drawings using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Work across projects of varying scales and complexity
• Liaise with internal teams and other project stakeholders to ensure designs are delivered accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all drawings and technical information meet the required standards
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the design team
