Job summary

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd in the UK is seeking a proactive Ganger to lead a small civils team delivering essential drainage works. You will oversee excavations, manhole rebuilds, repairs and installations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard on site.

You’ll conduct daily risk assessments, coordinate site operations, manage plant and materials requests, keep accurate records and ensure vehicles and equipment are used correctly and safely.

Qualifications

• Groundworks or utilities experience in civils environment.
• Familiarity with industry tools, plant and machinery.
• Understanding of health & safety and safe site practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small civils team on site and oversee daily activities.
• Carry out excavations, manhole rebuilds, repairs and installations.
• Conduct daily risk assessments and coordinate site operations.
• Oversee plant and materials requests and maintain records.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are used safely and correctly.
