Job summary

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is hiring a Civils General Operative to support civils and drainage projects across the South of England. This is a hands-on role outdoors, focused on high-quality workmanship.

You will assist with excavation, utility location, site preparation, reinstatement and general construction duties, working alongside Team Leaders and crews to keep sites safe, tidy and compliant. A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable and CAT & Genny qualification is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in civils, utilities, groundwork, construction or similar environments.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and construction equipment.
• Strong health and safety mindset for site operations.
• Reliable and punctual with good teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation activities and site preparation.
• Support utility location and avoidance work.
• Carry out reinstatement and general construction duties.
• Help maintain safe, organized and compliant work sites.
