Job summary

Strata Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join a team working on a range of projects from schools to commercial facilities. You will design and oversee analysis, calculations, and drawings to meet industry standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Eng, with 2+ years post-graduate experience, and a UK driving licence. A master's and Chartered Engineer path are advantageous; flexibility for hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; master's degree an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in civil & structural engineering.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body.
• Capable in the effective use of industry-standard software for structural analysis and design.
• A sound knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake civil/structural engineering design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Contribute to and oversee production of drawings, calculations, and specifications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and maintain high technical standards.
• Plan work to address peaks and troughs in resource demand and help prioritise project delivery.
