Strata Consulting Limited in Derby seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing consultancy. You will lead design from concept to construction across diverse sectors and mentor junior engineers while supporting client relationships.

The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, a pension scheme, and opportunities for chartership support and progression within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a UK structural consultancy environment.
• Proficient with Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS and AutoCAD.

Responsabilités

• Lead the structural design and delivery of a wide range of projects from concept through to construction.
• Undertake detailed design in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
• Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors and other design team members.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, reports and specifications.
• Attend project and site meetings.
• Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
