Job summary

Strata Consulting seeks a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to lead development infrastructure schemes in the UK. You will own projects from concept to construction, delivering S38/S278 schemes and managing designs with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong UK highways experience, Civil 3D and Causeway Flow proficiency, and the ability to liaise with Local Authorities and other stakeholders. Hybrid working 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within a UK engineering consultancy.
• Strong understanding of UK development infrastructure and Local Authority approval processes.
• Proficient in Civil 3D and Causeway Flow with experience delivering S38 and S278 through to technical approval and construction.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver development infrastructure schemes from concept through technical approval and construction.
• Produce technical drawings, calculations and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with Local Authorities and other approving bodies; perform design checking and take ownership with limited supervision.
