Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Civil Engineer to deliver water and wastewater design work from feasibility through detailed design. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, interfacing with clients and construction teams to ensure safe, practical solutions and timely project delivery.

The role supports professional development, including mentorship and chartership reviews, within a flexible design-and-construct environment offering home, office, and site working options.

Qualifications

• ICE-accredited Degree in Civil Engineering (or directly related subject) is required.
• Working towards IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution is expected.
• UK water and/or wastewater treatment / non-infrastructure experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil design services on a range of water-related projects with focus on time, cost, and quality.
• Produce engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.
• Engage with the Client and collaborate with their engineering teams.
• Work across disciplines to ensure mechanical and electrical interfaces are incorporated.
• Collaborate with construction teams and supply chain to develop practical and safe design solutions.
• Apply innovative and standard designs to project problems; anticipate challenges and review with the wider team.
