Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Reading-based team, delivering water and wastewater design projects from feasibility through to detailed design. You will work with a multidisciplinary group and liaise with clients to ensure interfaces with mechanical and electrical disciplines are integrated.

Qualifications

• ICE-accredited Degree in Civil Engineering (or directly related subject) is required.
• Working towards IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution should be pursued.
• UK water and/or wastewater treatment / non-infrastructure experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Civil design services on a range of projects with a focus on time, cost, quality - right first time.
• Producing engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.
• Engaging with the Client and collaborating with their engineering teams.
• Working collaboratively across disciplines to ensure that mechanical and electrical interfaces are incorporated.
• Developing solutions with construction team and supply chain through design, construction and post-project review.
• Applying innovative and standard designs to project problems.
