Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Civil Engineer to support major water and wastewater schemes from feasibility to construction. You will review designs, develop technical specifications, and ensure interfaces with other disciplines are well managed.

You will work in the UK water market, liaising with clients and project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions while mentoring graduates and engineers on live projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience delivering water/wastewater or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to deliver high quality outputs within design and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review designs for schemes; ensure compliance with standards.
• Produce technical specs and procurement schedules; review bids.
• Challenge client specs and propose solutions to complex problems.
• Drive delivery improvements including standard designs and sustainable solutions.
• Mentor graduates and engineers; collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
