Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Project Design Engineer - Civil to manage the outline to detailed design lifecycle for water and wastewater projects. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure designs meet programme, budget and quality standards, while progressing toward chartership and cross-discipline development.

The role supports flexible working from home, office and site, with mentorship and opportunities across the joint venture.

Qualifications

• Accredited Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Incorporated Member of Engineering Institution.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from the initial outline to detailed design, through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinating the project team including civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and technical specialists and ensure designs are completed on programme, within budget, and to the quality defined by each framework and industry specifications.
• Undertake design in own discipline and mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
• Building positive relationships with the clients’ project, operational and technical assurance teams and promote a "one-team" approach.
