Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Water Infrastructure team in Manchester. You will contribute to design, analysis, and multidisciplinary coordination across projects that shape sustainable water infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with a 2:1 or higher.
• Willingness to pursue professional accreditation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in digital methods and automation in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessment, analysis, and design; prepare design reports, drawings, calculations and specifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues in related disciplines and external bodies.
• Meet clients, agencies and stakeholders; conduct site visits.
• Develop and appraise options and support engineering solutions and business cases.
• Carry out sustainability reviews and carbon-related studies and reporting.
