Job summary

RGB in Gloucester is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 40 years' experience and three UK offices. You will contribute to infrastructure, structural engineering, transport planning, temporary works and site appraisals across residential and commercial schemes.

The role is full-time and office-based. You will prepare calculations, drawings and reports, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and support project delivery from concept through to completion.

Qualifications

• A relevant Civil Engineering degree.
• At least one year's experience in a Civil Engineering role.
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements/Strategies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroDrainage, along with Site3D and/or Civil 3D.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed designs for highways, drainage and earthworks across development projects.
• Preparing technical drawings and design information from concept through to construction.
• Undertaking Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and designing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
• Working on Section 278, 38, 104 and 185 agreements.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance and assisting with report writing.
