Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer for a full-time, permanent post in Gloucester. The role covers infrastructure design, drainage, and multi-disciplinary work across residential, commercial, and retail schemes.

You will join a well-established consultancy with 40+ years of experience and a diverse project portfolio across three UK offices. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• A relevant Civil Engineering degree.
• At least one year's experience in a Civil Engineering role.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroDrainage; familiarity with Site3D and Civil 3D.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed designs for highways, drainage and earthworks.
• Preparing technical drawings from initial concept through to construction.
• Undertaking Flood Risk Assessments and designing SuDS.
• Working on Section 278, 38, 104 and 185 agreements.
• Mentoring junior team members.
