Job summary

RGB Recruitment seeks a Civil Engineer for a respected engineering consultancy in Northampton. The role involves designing and delivering civil engineering schemes from concept through to completion, across residential, schools, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a civil engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• Knowledge of highways, drainage and infrastructure design.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and detailed design of civil engineering schemes, including highways, drainage, earthworks and associated infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation in accordance with current standards and best practice.
• Produce high-quality engineering drawings and models using industry-standard software.
• Support the technical delivery of projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs and resolve technical challenges.
• Undertake site visits, surveys and inspections to gather information and monitor project progress.
