Job summary

RGB Recruitment seeks a Civil Engineer for a full-time, permanent post in Gloucester. The role covers infrastructure design, FRAs, drainage, and site appraisals within a multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 40 years of experience.

The successful candidate will produce detailed designs for highways and drainage, use AutoCAD and MicroDrainage, and contribute to a varied project portfolio across residential, commercial, and retail schemes while benefiting from a supportive team and ongoing

Qualifications

• A relevant Civil Engineering degree.
• At least one year's experience in a Civil Engineering role.
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements/Strategies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroDrainage, along with Site3D and/or Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed designs for highways, drainage and earthworks across a range of development projects.
• Preparing technical drawings and design information from initial concept through to construction.
• Undertaking Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and designing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
• Working on Section 278, 38, 104 and 185 agreements.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance and assisting with report writing where required.
