RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer in Gloucester to deliver infrastructure design from concept through construction. You will design highways, drainage and earthworks, prepare drawings, and contribute to FRA/SuDS projects.

You will support a multidisciplinary team, mentor juniors, and help prepare reports. A Civil Engineering degree and 1+ year experience are required, with AutoCAD and drainage software skills essential.

• A relevant Civil Engineering degree is required.
• At least one year's experience in a Civil Engineer role.
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements/Strategies.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MicroDrainage; familiarity with Site3D and/or Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Our client is a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 40 years of industry experience and three offices across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their Gloucester team with the addition of a Civil Engineer who is keen to work on a diverse range of exciting projects.

The Role

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering infrastructure design solutions from concept through to construction. Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed designs for highways, drainage and earthworks across a range of development projects.
• Preparing technical drawings and design information from initial concept through to construction.
• Undertaking Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and designing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
• Working on Section 278, 38, 104 and 185 agreements.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance and assisting with report writing where required.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant Civil Engineering degree.
• At least one year's experience in a Civil Engineering role.
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements/Strategies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroDrainage, along with Site3D and/or Civil 3D.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
