Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Buildings Unit to lead electrical design across multi-disciplinary projects in the UK, including Manchester and London offices.

You will manage delivery of electrical elements, collaborate with other disciplines, coach junior staff, and drive programmes while ensuring quality and profitability in line with client expectations. Hybrid working and career development are offered.

Competenze

• Degree qualified Chartered Engineer with CIBSE or IET.
• Experience leading electrical services on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.

Mansioni

• Manage delivery of electrical elements of multi-disciplinary projects across built environment, water, transportation and advisory sectors.
• Design and specify output drawings, calculations and specifications.
• Collaborate with associated engineering disciplines to deliver projects.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Carry out design and calculation work using industry software (e.g., Amtech, IES, Relux, Revit).
• Fundamentally coach and develop junior team members.
• Develop and monitor programmes for scheduling and reporting of deliverables.
• Support profitability by monitoring budgets and communicating with clients.
