Job summary

Central Parking in Stevenage is seeking a Civil Enforcement Supervisor to lead a team of Enforcement Officers, ensuring adherence to parking regulations on streets and in car parks. The role focuses on daily supervision, deployment planning, and contract compliance to keep local roads moving and safe.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year in a management role in parking or customer services, knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• At least one year in a managing role in parking or customer services.
• Experience with the Traffic Management Act 2004 and other parking legislation.
• Ability to organise and motivate large numbers of contract staff.
• Ability to create reports and maintain documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must hold a Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all policies are followed and set a good example.
• Deploy the correct number of Officers per service levels and contract.
• Initiate and manage Requests for Actions effectively.
• Supervise staff according to contract requirements and provide guidance.
• Train staff in Health and Safety and job responsibilities.
• Maintain attendance levels within the team and communicate updates.
• Prepare performance reports as required by contract management.
• Ensure contract standards and quality are maintained at all times.

Civil Enforcement Supervisor - Stevenage - hours per week, 5 days out of 7 - per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Enforcement Supervisor in Stevenage. Civil Enforcement Officers are responsible for ensuring that all drivers follow parking regulations on public streets and in car parks. They are an important part of keeping our roads moving and ensuring public safety. This role will be to assist in managing a team of Enforcement Officers, enforcing traffic and parking regulations to keep the local roads moving and ensuring public safety.

What will you do?:

• Ensure all known and agreed policies are followed setting a good example.
• You will make sure the correct number of Civil Enforcement Officers are deployed as per agreed service levels and contractual conditions.
• Ensure all Request for Actions are commenced and managed effectively.
• You will review, monitor, supervise and direct staff according to contract requirements.
• Train all staff in aspects of their job and in Health and Safety.
• Maintaining attendance levels within your teams.
• Circulate relevant information to all members of staff and maintain good communications throughout the contract.
• Prepare performance reports as required by contract management.
• Ensure overall client approval and attend training courses where required.
• To ensure contract standards and quality are maintained at all times.

What will you bring?:

• At least one year’s experience of working in a managing role, in a parking or customer services industry.
• Experience with the traffic management act 2004 and other parking legislation.
• Aptitude to organise and motivate large numbers of contract staff.
• Creation of reports.
• Excellent personal skills with the competence to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• A Full Clean UK driving licence
