Trellint is seeking a Civil Enforcement Officer in Reading to uphold parking regulations and civil enforcement orders. You will patrol designated zones, issue penalties, and assist the public in a professional manner.

The role requires clear English communication, strong observational skills, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. A driving license is preferred but not essential.

This role requires patrolling designated zones, issuing penalty charge notices, and providing information and assistance to the public.Job Responsibilities*** Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or by vehicle to identify and address parking violations and other civil infractions.* Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) accurately and efficiently, adhering to all relevant legislation and company procedures.* Provide clear and concise information to members of the public regarding parking regulations and enforcement actions.* Operate and maintain handheld enforcement devices and other equipment as required.* Record and report relevant observations, incidents, and enforcement activities.* Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while dealing with the public, even in challenging situations.* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.* Work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to ensure effective enforcement.Job Qualifications*** Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English.* Strong observational skills and attention to detail.* Ability to remain calm and professional in potentially confrontational situations.* Excellent customer service skills.* Basic IT literacy for operating handheld devices.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.* Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).* Previous experience in a customer-facing role or enforcement is desirable.* Knowledge of local parking regulations and civil enforcement procedures is an asset.Worker Type:RegularNumber of Openings Available:2
