Job summary

Modaxo Traffic Management UK Ltd. is seeking a Civil Enforcement Officer for Reading to uphold parking regulations and civil enforcement orders. You will patrol zones on foot or by vehicle, issue penalties, and provide assistance to the public.

Applicants should be able to communicate clearly in English, remain calm under pressure, and operate handheld devices. A UK driving licence is preferred. This is a regular, outdoor role in all weather conditions.

Job Summary

As a Civil Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for upholding parking regulations and other civil enforcement orders within the Reading area, ensuring public safety and traffic flow. This role requires patrolling designated zones, issuing penalty charge notices, and providing information and assistance to the public.

Job Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or by vehicle to identify and address parking violations and other civil infractions.
• Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) accurately and efficiently, adhering to all relevant legislation and company procedures.
• Provide clear and concise information to members of the public regarding parking regulations and enforcement actions.
• Operate and maintain handheld enforcement devices and other equipment as required.
• Record and report relevant observations, incidents, and enforcement activities.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while dealing with the public, even in challenging situations.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to ensure effective enforcement.
