Job summary

CHG Electrical in Sheffield is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 3-5+ years of experience in utilities, water or infrastructure to deliver practical civil layouts, foundations and temporary works.

You'll work with MEICA, building regulations and CDM guidance, coordinating with mechanical and electrical teams to create buildable designs and provide site support through construction.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil drawings, designs and calculations in utilities/water projects.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage is required.
• Good technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil designs, drawings and calculations for below-ground structures, foundations and temporary works.
• Develop site layouts and enabling works to support project delivery.
• Coordinate with MEICA teams to ensure integration and buildability.
• Provide technical support to site teams during construction.
