Alexander Associates Limited is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join a collaborative team working on drainage, highways, earthworks and site development projects. You will translate ideas into practical, sustainable designs and support multidisciplinary coordination.

The role requires a degree in civil engineering, consultancy experience, and proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and drainage software. You will contribute across residential, commercial, industrial or datacentre schemes while

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil design within consultancy.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
• Strong understanding of UK standards and regulations.
• Experience across residential, commercial, industrial or datacentre projects.

Responsabilités

• Produce civil engineering designs from concept to construction.
• Design drainage, external works, levels, earthworks and highways.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects and contractors.
• Support Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
• Support site inspections and respond to technical queries.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design improvements.
