Job summary

Alexander Associates is seeking a civil design engineer to produce designs from concept to construction, covering drainage, highways, earthworks and site development.

You will prepare calculations, reports and design documentation, coordinate with structural engineers and contractors, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to design improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil design within consultancy.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.

• Produce civil engineering designs from concept to construction.
• Design drainage, external works, levels, earthworks and highways.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects and contractors.
• Support Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
• Support site inspections and respond to technical queries.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design improvements.
