Job summary

Gensler is seeking a Project Architect to join our Birmingham Studio, leading teams across a range of city-scale projects. You will oversee design, technical delivery and client relationships through all project phases, mentoring junior staff and ensuring quality outcomes.

The role focuses on design excellence, contract compliance, and collaborative team integration within a dynamic pipeline across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• RIBA or ARB registered Architect with relevant sector experience.
• Experience leading projects from concept to delivery across Cities sector.
• Ability to manage client, designer and contractor needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-project design teams through design delivery and construction.
• Engage clients, manage contracts and project risks across phases.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex design challenges.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.
