Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Warrington, UK, is seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead to drive the ongoing enhancement of manufacturing processes and the company’s CI strategy.

This on-site, permanent role focuses on identifying efficiency opportunities and translating them into tangible improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will lead CI projects, train plant teams in standard work and problem-solving, analyze processes to reduce waste and bottlenecks, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Structured problem solving and CI in a production system (TPS) environment.
• Six Sigma and Lean Practitioner Certified with the ability to train others.
• Data handling, analytics and statistical information validation; audit experience (IATF 16949/ISO 9001).
• Project management experience; knowledge of SAP or MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Train and support plant teams in standard work and problem-solving techniques.
• Analyze processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and leadership to implement actions.
• Track and report KPIs such as OEE, scrap, downtime, cycle time and overall plant performance.
