Job summary
Stanley Black & Decker, Warrington site, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive manufacturing process enhancements. You will identify efficiency opportunities and convert them into improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while standardising CI practices across the Warrington team.
You will train plant teams in standard work, problem-solving, and CI best practices, analyse processes to remove waste, and collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and leadership to
Qualifications
- Experience with structured Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement in a Production System (TPS) environment.
- Six Sigma and Lean Practitioner Certification; ability to train others in improvement techniques.
- Data handling, data analytics and statistical information validation; IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 Internal Audit experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance in plant operations.
- Train and support plant teams in standard work, problem-solving methods, and continuous improvement best practices.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency and throughput improvement.
- Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to implement process improvements and corrective actions.
- Track and report key performance metrics such as OEE, scrap, downtime, cycle time, and overall plant performance.
