Job summary

This Head of Continuous Improvement role sits within a major industrial manufacturing business in the United Kingdom. You will lead programmes across operations, partnering with senior leaders and frontline teams to identify opportunities and deliver measurable gains in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

You will build capability, establish consistent improvement practices, and help foster a culture of operational excellence, coaching CI professionals and embedding Lean Six Sigma across

Qualifications

• Significant CI, Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence experience within a complex manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable operational improvements is essential.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of CI programmes.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and efficiency.
• Introduce and embed Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Work with senior leaders and operational teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
• Develop internal CI capability through coaching and mentoring.
• Use data and performance measures to identify priorities and track results.
• Support cultural change and encourage a structured approach to problem solving.
• Lead and develop a team of CI professionals.
