Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Warrington, UK is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive manufacturing process enhancements.

You will identify efficiency opportunities and convert them into improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost, with standard work and CI toolkit training for the Warrington team. You’ll partner with production, quality, maintenance and leadership to implement improvements, track KPIs such as OEE and cycle time, and apply Six Sigma/Lean methods plus data

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvement in a production environment.
• Six Sigma and Lean Practitioner certification.
• Experience with data analytics and statistical validation; IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 internal audit experience.
• Project management experience; knowledge of SAP or MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong communication and a proactive CI mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost in plant operations.
• Train and support plant teams in standard work and problem-solving methods.
• Analyse manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks and throughput opportunities.
• Partner with production, quality, maintenance and leadership to implement process improvements and corrective actions.
• Track and report KPIs such as OEE, scrap, downtime and cycle time.
