Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Warrington, UK, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive manufacturing process enhancements on-site. You will lead CI projects, train teams, and collaborate with production, quality and maintenance to implement improvements and sustain gains.

Qualifications

• Experience with structured Problem Solving in a Production System (TPS) environment.
• Six Sigma and Lean Practitioner certification with ability to train others.
• Data handling, data analytics and validation; IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 internal audit experience.
• Project management experience; knowledge of SAP or MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance in plant operations.
• Train and support plant teams in standard work, problem-solving methods, and CI best practices.
• Analyse manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency and throughput improvement.
• Partner with production, quality, maintenance and leadership to implement process improvements and corrective actions.
• Track and report key performance metrics such as OEE, scrap, downtime, cycle time, and plant performance.
